Sarah Palin: “To Prevent Immoral Use By Immigrants We Should Print Food Stamps Exclusively In English”

The White House is reportedly sitting on executive orders that would seek to deport immigrants who are already living in the U.S. with documentation, the Washington Post reports. “Our country’s immigration laws are designed to protect American taxpayers and promote immigrant self sufficiency. Yet households headed by aliens are much more likely than those headed by citizens to use Federal means-tested public benefits,” reads one of the orders. It is titled, “Executive Order on Protecting Taxpayer Resources by Ensuring Our Immigration Laws Promote Accountability and Responsibility.” The draft relies on the assumption that “immigrant households are more likely to use welfare benefits,” though no evidence is provided to support the claim.

One of the first to comment on the news was once again the sharp-tongued former half-term governor of Alaska Sarah Palin. In an interview with the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman of Wasilla, Alaska, the former governor argued that she supports the new president “on every step of the way,” as well as that she “couldn’t agree more” with the manner in which he’s “shaken things up.” “This is just what we needed,” she said. “And it’s exactly what I and millions of Americans have been hoping for. An end to illegal immigration, an end to American jobs getting hijacked by the Chinese, and an end to the overall degeneration of the traditional, Christian American society. It was about darn time someone took the reigns, and President Trump’s travel ban was a bull’s eye.”

She continued, adding, “And not only is he completely right about immigrants and aliens hijacking food stamps and taking advantage of them – as a matter of fact, I think we ought to start printing the darn things exclusively in English. That way, they’ll only be used by Americans, which is who they were intended for in the first place. Additionally, maybe some immigrants who speak English well enough might slip through the cracks at first, but we’ll soon pick up on that. Seriously, I think my suggestion is so fail-proof that it needs to be implemented, like, yesterday.”

“Because, what’s happening now is you’ve got a situation where people sneak into the country through Canada and especially Mexico, they hide around for a while until they get acclimated, and then they get out there and get a job,” Palin argued. “The problem is, the job they find is something they get paid for incredibly low – much lower than any decent, self-respecting American would ever accept. But, it doesn’t end there. After they successfully make sure another hard-working American, typically a white one, is out of a job, they’re then faced with the next problem: how to survive with such a low income in a country where the cost of life is among the highest in the industrialized world. Well, that’s where food stamps come in. Regardless of being unable to speak English, or doing so very poorly, they apply for welfare and they’ve got themselves a sweet deal. Bottom line – they’re ruining the American economy from every direction imaginable.”

“The solution? Like I said – restrict printing food stamps to English and English only. That way, if they want to cheat on the government, at least they’ll have to learn English and learn it well in order to do so. And if they learn the language well, they’ll at least be able to ask for an attorney in English after they’re arrested for taking advantage of food stamps. And once all that is done and they’re assigned an attorney, only then will they be able to complain about how this country is unfair to immigrants and how Donald Trump is a racist. In the meantime, there will be two positive consequences out of all that; one, they’ll have learned English well enough to apply for a legal way to become American citizens, and two, food stamps will have started going to those who really need them, like poor white people. Though, their English proficiency is also questionable, at best. But, that’s a story for another interview,” Palin concluded.
